Area Sales Manager

GLAXTON is seeking a skilled Area Sales Manager to drive market expansion and revenue growth in the central vacuum and ventilation systems industry. As an Area Sales Manager, you will develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, build strong relationships with customers, and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a sales strategy for central vacuum systems and ventilation products in your designated area, aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Sales Target Achievement: Set and achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory, regularly monitoring and reporting on sales performance.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including architects, builders, contractors, and homeowners, to understand their requirements and offer suitable solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Acquire an in-depth understanding of our central vacuum systems and ventilation products, staying updated on technical specifications, features, and benefits to effectively communicate these to customers.
- Technical Consultation: Provide technical advice and solutions to customers, addressing their specific needs and demonstrating the value of our products.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands. Use this knowledge to develop pricing and product strategies that can give us a competitive edge.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers, showcasing the advantages of our products.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the technical support team to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and concerns, and provide post-sale support as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience and address customer requirements effectively.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and feedback, and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical field, and preferably an MBA from a reputed business school.
- Strong technical background and an aptitude for understanding complex technical products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
