Key Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior EHS Professional, you will assist the Head of EHS in developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. You will also advise management on safety aspects of new technology and provide guidance on improving safety and sustainability practices.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Conduct regular plant safety walks and monitor key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address near misses and incidents.
  • Analyze and report on statutory compliance requirements and ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are up to date.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to maintain fire safety equipment and conduct regular inspections to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Oversee the execution of all safety and health projects, including Capex planning and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS common inquiries or complaints from employees and/or customers.
  • Communicate safety practices and policies to employees and visibly promote a safety-first culture.
  • Monitor key safety performance indicators and participate in promoting safety initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., EHS, engineering, science).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior EHS role.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to analyze data and develop effective solutions.
