As a senior assurance professional, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding clients' businesses and industries, including their accounting and control systems, employees, company values, and industry-related issues.
- Developing and demonstrating an understanding of the audit approach, methodology, and tools.
- Performing audit procedures and tests in accordance with the overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed.
- Identifying areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues; discussing these with teams to resolve any issues that arise.
- Researching technical accounting issues.
- Developing industry expertise.
- Preparing audit reports and management letters.
- Exercising professional skepticism, judgment, and adhering to the code of ethics while on engagements.
- Ensuring that documentation is compliant with quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A semi-qualified ACCA/CPA or qualified CA/ACCA/Licensed CPA.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience working in an accounting and audit-related field.
- Strong technical skills in accounting, including IFRS and GAAP.
- Strong data analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
