Job Opportunity

The role of the Credit Risk Manager entails conducting comprehensive credit risk assessments of corporates, with a focus on the financial services sector.

  • Evaluate corporate creditworthiness through in-depth analysis of financial statements, business models, and industry-specific risks.
  • Analyze cash flow, capital structure, and regulatory frameworks to assess credit risk.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, including site visits and industry research.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting the financial sector or current portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely evaluation of credit calls.
  • Recommend risk mitigation strategies and develop models for recurring credit development.
  • Support the development of sector-specific credit frameworks and risk appetite statements.
  • Update current bank/rating agency credit risk models and understand market sources tools for credit analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field (CA/CFA/MBA preferred).
  • 3-8 years of experience in credit risk assessment, particularly within the financial sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, cash flow management, capital structure, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of RBI regulations and sector-specific nuances in banking, NBFCs, Corporates, and other financial institutions.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, risk scoring, and credit rating methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in conducting ground-level due diligence and client interactions.
