Credit Risk Lead Position Overview

Our organization is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Lead to manage and enhance the credit risk framework for unsecured lending.

Key Responsibilities:Credit Risk Strategy & Policy
  • Develop and maintain credit risk policies and frameworks for unsecured products, ensuring alignment with market trends and regulatory guidelines.
  • Review and refine underwriting norms in line with evolving market conditions and risk appetite.
  • Collaborate with product and analytics teams to optimize credit strategies for new and existing products, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
Underwriting & Risk Models
  • Build and improve credit scorecards and rule engines in collaboration with data science and analytics teams, leveraging advanced analytics techniques.
  • Monitor performance of underwriting models and recommend refinements as needed, ensuring optimal risk management.
  • Evaluate new lending segments, channels, or partnerships from a credit perspective, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
Portfolio Monitoring & MIS
  • Analyze portfolio performance, delinquencies, and early warning signals using dashboards and analytics, providing insights for informed decision-making.
  • Lead periodic credit reviews and present portfolio health to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Design and track key risk indicators (KRIs) and early warning systems (EWS), proactively managing risk and optimizing credit decisions.
