This position will be part of the North America Beverages organization. This role contributes to the success of a leading beverage company by supporting the sales customer team.

The Deduction Analyst will manage settlements for Trade Promotions, analyzing, calculating and validating payments and deductions.

Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile payments/deductions invoices and monitor approvals from stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Analyze invoices, break down by segmentation and ensure timely closure of tactics post payments, managing trade spend in respective accounts
  • Communicate risks and opportunities to sales teams, control and finance departments
  • Validate tactic pricing with pricing grids for any discrepancies in accruals and invoices
  • Track payments and funding for vendors
  • Manage expectations through verbal and written interactions with internal teams including sales, finance and control
  • Deliver accurate and timely payment data in accordance with agreed service level agreements (SLA)
  • Implement continuous improvements and simplifications of processes, standardization of reporting and optimal use of technology (Automation)

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience (for L03)
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce/business administration/marketing or finance; master's degree is a plus
  • Prior experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to work through large data sets
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks
  • Proactive, responsive and results-driven
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
