Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a Fund Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for performing and reviewing daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual fund accounting functions as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform/review daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual fund accounting functions as assigned.
  • Co-ordinate with different teams (both internal and external) to perform various daily/monthly/quarterly tasks.
  • Take ownership of timely and accurate resolution of cash breaks.
  • Monitor status of aged and significantly sized breaks to ensure timely and accurate resolution by following up with various stakeholders as required.
  • Act as the primary reviewer and quality assurance of deliverables produced by your team.
  • Calculate, book, and review deal-wise various fees like management, incentive/carry etc., as assigned.
  • End Customer Satisfaction/CRM satisfaction & Process Efficiency.
  • Keep the Client/CRM informed about expected delays and reasons thereof on a timely manner along with a plan of action.
  • Ensure all deliverables are achieved as per defined timelines and with expected quality for Clients/CRM.
  • Participate in calls/meetings between team, Client/CRM to help set expectations right and document the same to clear any understanding gaps.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of various applications used to complete tasks.
  • Perform root cause analysis of problems and escalate to Manager as needed.
