Group Travel Solutions Leader

Drive end-to-end group travel solutions for customized leisure, affinity, and special interest groups.

  • Own P&L, revenue, and margin targets.
  • Define strategic growth plans for the Adhoc Groups vertical.
  • Curate destination-specific group itineraries.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and DMCs for unique inclusions and experiences.

Purpose of Role: To lead and grow the Adhoc Groups business by developing and delivering customized travel solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategic growth plans for the Adhoc Groups vertical.
  2. Own and drive the business P&L, revenue, and margin targets.
  3. Identify key demand segments and develop customized offerings.
  4. Curate destination-specific group itineraries aligned with group size, purpose, and traveler profile.
  5. Customize products for long haul and short haul destinations based on seasonality and trends.
  6. Coordinate with DMCs and suppliers for unique inclusions, experiences, and competitive pricing.
  7. Partner with sales teams for proposal creation and client presentations.
  8. Lead high-value client discussions and support in deal closures.
  9. Monitor and improve conversion ratios of leads to confirmed groups.
  10. Supervise pre-tour, on-tour, and post-tour operations to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  11. Work with visa, ticketing, and documentation teams for group requirements.
  12. Handle escalations and ensure timely issue resolution for smooth group movement.
  13. Maintain strong relations with DMCs, hotels, airlines, and transport partners.
  14. Negotiate group deals, block inventories, and secure preferred rates.
  15. Lead and mentor a team of group planners, coordinators, and operations executives.
  16. Build cross-functional collaboration and drive a customer-first culture.

Requirements:
A successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, along with experience in group travel planning and management. Strong relationships with suppliers and DMCs are essential. The ability to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency is critical.
