As a Group Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Adhoc Groups business by driving end-to-end group travel solutions.

Purpose of Role:

The successful candidate will strategically lead and grow the Adhoc Groups business by developing and delivering customized travel solutions for varied group segments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Growth Strategy:
  • Create and implement strategic growth plans for the Adhoc Groups vertical to drive revenue and margin targets.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify key demand segments and develop customized offerings aligned with group size, purpose, and traveler profile.
  • Tour Operations:
  • Curate destination-specific group itineraries and customize products for long haul and short haul destinations based on seasonality and trends.
  • Sales Support:
  • Partner with sales teams for proposal creation and client presentations.
  • Client Relationships:
  • Lead high-value client discussions and support in deal closures.
  • Operations Management:
  • Monitor and improve conversion ratios of leads to confirmed groups.
  • Supervise pre-tour, on-tour, and post-tour operations to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  • Partnerships:
  • Maintain strong relations with DMCs, hotels, airlines, and transport partners.
  • Negotiations:
  • Negotiate group deals, block inventories, and secure preferred rates.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of group planners, coordinators, and operations executives.
