Description
Are you a strategic yet hands-on marketing leader ready to shape and grow multiple brands? As a Group Marketing Manager, you'll take ownership of the full marketing function across our diverse portfolio, with infithra, our HR software (SaaS) brand as one of your key focus areas.
Working centrally within our Group, you'll lead projects spanning digital marketing, brand strategy, content, PR, partnerships, and events. From building compelling campaigns to driving measurable business impact, this role is both creative and analytical, requiring someone who can translate vision into execution.
You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the full spectrum of marketing activities while guiding a team and collaborating with stakeholders across business units. The ideal candidate is adaptable, resourceful, and able to balance big-picture strategy with day-to-day delivery.This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact - strengthening brand presence, driving growth, and ensuring marketing excellence across the Group.
Please note: This is a full-time onsite role based in Mumbai. Candidates must already be located in Mumbai; relocation support is not provided.
Responsibilities
Strategy, Leadership and Team Development
- Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy aligned with business goals across multiple brands/business units.
- Lead annual/quarterly marketing planning, setting KPIs and budgets.
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior marketing team members (interns, executives and designers) while managing relationships with freelancers and external agencies.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members, building a strong internal marketing culture with clear growth paths.
- Deliver regular reports on overall marketing performance, KPIs, and ROI to management.
- Act as the main marketing point of contact for senior leadership and department heads, working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Operations to align initiatives with business objectives.
Brand & Communications
- Build, position, and manage brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Oversee the creation of compelling marketing campaigns, creative storytelling, and messaging.
- Manage PR activities, press releases, and media relationships to boost brand visibility.
- Coordinate with internal teams for marketing needs including campaigns, lead generation, marketing materials, events, and internal communications.
Digital Marketing
- Own the digital strategy including website management, SEO/SEM, paid media, and analytics.
- Oversee and execute social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), driving engagement and brand growth.
- Develop and monitor performance marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) to deliver high quality leads across the Group.
- Regularly review and optimize campaigns and website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush, collaborating with team members for continuous improvement.
Content & Creative
- Oversee annual content calendar and content strategy for multiple brands (social media, blogs, email campaigns, newsletters, and webpages).
- Coordinate with design teams, content writers, and agencies for visuals, videos, and creatives.
- Repurpose content effectively across different channels and formats.
Events & Partnerships
- Plan and execute events, sponsorships, and brand activations.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand brand reach.
- Represent the group at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Technology & Automation
- Implement and manage marketing automation platforms (NetSuite, Zoho CRM, etc.).
- Oversee CRM activities and lead management workflows with stakeholders.
- Stay updated with emerging marketing tech tools to improve efficiency and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 5-8 years of progressive marketing experience, with exposure to group-level or multi-brand functions.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, analytics, design and marketing automation tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Highly creative, resourceful, and results-driven.
