Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Observability Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable observability platforms, driving APM tooling adoption, and embedding synthetic monitoring into modern service architectures.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring, as well as strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda). They will also have proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect secure, resilient synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments using AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda) and Dynatrace.
  • Lead Dynatrace APM adoption with standardized instrumentation and deployment models.
  • Define onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources with a focus on synthetic monitoring.
  • Integrate observability tooling (Catchpoint, Dynatrace) to deliver unified insights.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions where needed.
  • Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards for synthetic monitoring.
  • Drive documentation, training, and cross-team knowledge sharing to strengthen monitoring practices.
  • Collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.
  • Partner with security teams on compliance, threat detection, and governance related to monitoring.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools (Catchpoint, Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
