Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Detailed Job Description:

  • Assist in the planning and deployment of highly available, secure, and scalable AWS architectures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into robust cloud solutions (DevOps, Development, Security).
  • Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Evaluate and implement measures to safeguard AWS environments against potential threats.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies, maintaining a secure cloud environment.
  • Develop strategies for optimizing AWS costs without compromising performance or security.
  • Maintain cloud-based systems, responding promptly to alerts and resolving system failures.
  • Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs for team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Mentor other team members in all facets listed above, promoting career growth and development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7 to 9 years experience in Information Technology, with a strong background in cloud computing.
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM, ensuring secure cloud operations.
  • Experience with repository management (Git), facilitating efficient collaboration and version control.
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS Workspaces, providing seamless user experiences.
  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible Tower, AWS CloudFormation), streamlining cloud infrastructure deployments.
  • Strong AWS implementation and administration experience, ensuring optimal cloud performance.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, enabling flexibility in cloud infrastructure management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, demonstrating expertise in cloud computing.
  • Scripting capability and ability to develop scripted AWS infrastructure, enhancing cloud automation.
  • General understanding of multi-region and hybrid cloud architectures, enabling adaptability in cloud strategy.
