Job Title: Cloud Security Specialist

 

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud architectures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Security Architecture
    • Design and implement secure cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), focusing on organizational policies, constraints, VPC SC, IAM policies, and GCP APIs.
    • Ensure alignment with security best practices and industry standards.
  • Security Controls and Compliance
    • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines for cloud-based applications and data.
    • Implement compliance controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Security Risk Management
    • Identify and assess security risks associated with cloud-based applications and data.
    • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate and manage security risks.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and compliance teams.
    • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and risk management.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software and/or cloud platform engineering, particularly focused on GCP environment.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps processes and workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Secure SDLC process.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling, preferably Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Logging and data pipeline concepts and architectures in cloud.
  • Strong scripting languages skills, such as PowerShell or Python or Bash or Go.
  • Knowledge of Agile best practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) 3rd Party tools.
  • Experience with Policy-as-code (Rego) and OPA platform.
  • Practical experience in designing and configuring CICD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
  • Experience in ITSM.
  • Experience in the financial industry would be a plus.
