Job Title: Enterprise Database Architect

We are seeking a seasoned PostgreSQL database architect to spearhead the design, implementation, and management of large-scale databases. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in database administration, performance optimization, and query tuning for high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available PostgreSQL databases.
  • Perform comprehensive database performance analysis, optimization, and tuning strategies.
  • Implement robust backup, recovery, and failover strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Develop and enforce strict database security protocols, access control, and role-based privileges.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Utilize advanced tools for proactive performance monitoring and alerting.
  • Ensure database scalability, reliability, and availability in production environments through strategic planning and execution.
  • Support seamless upgrades, patching, and migration activities.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Advanced PostgreSQL database architecture and administration (8+ years).
