Database Architect : Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, aligning with business strategy and technology trends.
  • Establish and enforce enterprise architecture principles, standards, and guidelines.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and assessments to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide strategic guidance on technology investments and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define and prioritize architectural initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business domain, its processes, and its future direction.
  • Contribute to the development of technology policies and procedures.
  • Lead the design and development of complex enterprise-level solutions.
  • Define and document architectural patterns, standards, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms to support business needs.
  • Develop and maintain architectural artifacts, including conceptual, logical, and physical architecture diagrams.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Conduct proof-of-concepts and feasibility studies to evaluate new technologies.
  • Understand and implement integration patterns between various systems.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for technology innovation.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and architectural patterns.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the architecture team.
  • Mentor and coach junior architects and developers.
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual property.
  • Lead technology assessments and provide Skills and Experience :
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10-12 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or related roles.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Strong understanding of architectural domains (business, application, data, and technology).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, API management, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with data architecture and data management principles.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and technologies.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages, and software development methodologies.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is a plus.
