About the Role

The Front Office Manager will be responsible for:

  • Greeting and welcoming guests, directing visitors to the appropriate person or office,
  • Answering and screening phone calls, and forwarding them to the relevant staff member,
  • Maintaining the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials,
  • Providing information to guests and staff, both in-person and via phone or email,
  • Receiving and distributing mail and deliveries, and maintaining accurate records,
  • Controlling access to the office, following safety procedures, and ordering supplies as needed,
  • Updating calendars and scheduling meetings, and preparing travel arrangements,
  • Maintaining accurate records of office expenses and costs, and performing other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field,
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups,
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy,
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook,
  • Familiarity with hotel software and systems, such as property management systems and point-of-sale systems.
