Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Tank Gauging Systems Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of tank gauging systems. This position requires a deep understanding of tank gauging principles and hands-on experience with related instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the installation of tank gauging systems and related equipment.
  • Conduct functional checks to ensure proper operation of gauging instruments.
  • Perform commissioning activities, including calibration and validation of measurement systems.
  • Evaluate existing tank gauging systems and propose enhancements to optimize performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to tank gauging instrumentation.
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, including test plans, reports, and compliance records.
  • Develop and issue Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tank gauging operations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and project managers to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
  • Provide technical support and training to operational staff regarding tank gauging systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in tank gauging systems or related fields.
  • Relevant certifications in instrumentation is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of tank gauging principles and technologies (e.g., radar, servo, float systems).

Experience with calibration and validation of gauging equipment.

Familiarity with inventory management, data acquisition, and reporting systems.

Proficiency in software tools used for tank gauging data analysis and reporting.
