Job Title: Network Security Specialist

Location: Ghaziabad, India. Shift Time: UK Shift.

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in configuring and troubleshooting network security devices/protocols, as well as experience working within a Managed Service Provider Environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for someone who can provide 3rd Line support for incoming customer support queries and escalations from the 2nd Line Service Desk.
  • The successful candidate will take ownership and effectively manage support tickets for incidents, change, and service requests.
  • We require someone to plan and complete projects as assigned to them by the Head of 3rd Line Network Support.
  • Documented customer solutions – CMDB, Visio documentation, technical summary write-up will be required.
  • Experience with DR/Failover Testing is necessary.
  • We also need someone to support and mentor 2nd Line engineers.
  • The ideal candidate will provide resources to the solution delivery team in supporting the configuration and implementation of new customer projects.
  • On-call rota out of hours for high-priority incidents is a requirement.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable knowledge at CCNP (ENT/DC/SP/SEC) or JNCIP-ENT level is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting network security devices/protocols is required.
  • Able to troubleshoot and isolate faults to identify root causes and bring to resolution is necessary.
  • Advanced knowledge of layer 2 and 3 protocols is essential.
  • Experience using at least one of the following firewalls: Palo Alto, FortiGate, and Cisco ASA is necessary.
  • This includes experience of configuring and troubleshooting access lists, NAT, IPSec and SSL VPNs.
  • Strong knowledge of OSPF and BGP in an ISP environment is required.
  • Proficient in packet capture and interpretation is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Cloud products such as Azure / Amazon AWS is required.
  • Experience working within a Managed Service Provider Environment is essential.
  • Minimum Basic experience with network automation/programing such as Ansible/Python is necessary.
