Job Description

Cybersecurity professionals with expertise in medical devices are sought after by our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents, as well as experience in leading post-market security investigations.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and assessing cybersecurity threats, performing risk assessments and impact analyses using FDA, ISO/IEC 81001-5-1, and NIST cybersecurity frameworks, and collaborating with product teams to develop and deploy security patches and updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Six years of general Cybersecurity experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Three years of Product Security experience, preferably in medical devices
  • Three years of Vulnerability Management experience
  • Three years of Cybersecurity Process Development experience
  • Experience assessing and improving cybersecurity maturity using the NIST CSF Implementation Tiers
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with IT, business partners, and working with internal and external audits
  • Master's degree in an Information Technology field from an accredited institution
  • Proven experience in evaluating and advancing organizational cybersecurity maturity aligned with NIST CSF Implementation Tiers (Tier 1-4)
  • Three years of Medical Device Post-Market Experience
  • Familiarity with global healthcare data privacy and security regulations, including FDA, HIPAA, and GDPR
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, lead multiple urgent demands, and develop trust virtually and in person
