Job Title: L1 Field Support Engineer

The role of a skilled End User Support Engineer involves providing technical support to users across the organization, ensuring seamless IT operations and optimal productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals to guarantee uninterrupted work flow.
  • Troubleshoot operating system and application-related issues (Windows, MS Office, email, etc.) in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade end-user hardware and software as per IT policies to maintain alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and group policies in Active Directory to ensure secure and controlled access.
  • Support connectivity issues including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and IP telephony to facilitate communication and collaboration.

You will also be required to coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs or replacements, log incidents and service requests accurately in the ITSM tool, and follow through to resolution.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT end-user support or desktop support to possess a solid foundation and expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking to provide effective support and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Outlook/Exchange, and remote support tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred, along with certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCSA, or ITIL Foundation to demonstrate advanced skills and commitment to excellence.
