Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Technical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for validating the functionality of the ServiceNow application, developing and executing quality test plans, and ensuring that all testing activities meet auditing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate ServiceNow Application Functionality: Work closely with developers and system administrators to validate the functionality of the ServiceNow application prior to promoting configuration into production.
  • Develop Quality Test Plans: Develop and execute quality test plans, including unit, functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.
  • Test Case Development: Develop test cases using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Defect Management: Manage defects identified during testing and interact with the ServiceNow platform team on validation of fixes made.
  • Quality Testing Effort Estimates: Provide quality testing effort estimates to project managers and scrum masters.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Interface with customers in providing guidance during user acceptance testing, including test case execution and documentation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of ServiceNow training and QA experience.
  • Training and testing experience on platform capabilities and offerings, including CSM and ITOM.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ATF is a plus.
  • Experience working within different automated testing frameworks, Java JUnit, Selenium, TestNG, and other open-sources is a plus.
  • Certification in the testing and training space.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
