Senior Engineer Job Description

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to manage Civil 3D projects, working independently and making technical decisions for US, UK & Asia-specific projects.

  • Assist the BIM Manager with any Civil 3D project coordination.
  • Work independently and make technical decisions for projects across multiple regions.
  • Handle Landscape, Dry & Wet Utilities, Grading, Highway Modelling, and Plantation projects effectively.
  • Prepare coordinated shop drawings and as-built documentation.
  • Prepare earthwork grading cut & fill analysis, cross sections, and quantity take-offs accurately.
  • Prepare detailed plans and profiles for pipe networks & manholes as per IFC drawings specifications.
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines using Navisworks for clash detection and resolution efficiently.
  • Manage the BIM construction process from DD stage to As-Built stage smoothly.
  • Assist with estimation tasks and lead a small team of professionals.
  • Integrate iPad/AM data exchange and generate COBie data reports.
  • Collaborate with design teams and clients to actively solve problems and improve project outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, Subassembly Composer & Part-Builder software applications.
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD for drawing, linkage, and cleanup techniques.
  • Familiarity with Design Review for collaboration with professional staff members.
  • Expertise in Navisworks Manage for clash detection & resolution processes.
  • Knowledge of submittals and Civil 3D workflows best practices.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English language.
  • Team management capability with strong problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
