Operations Program Manager Job Description

The Operations Program Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of client-specific background verification programs. This involves leading and guiding teams to ensure seamless program execution, managing timelines, resources, and budgets, and developing risk mitigation plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership & Strategy: Responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing client-specific background verification programs from inception to delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Team Coordination: Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure effective team coordination and communication.
  • Process Improvement & Optimization: Identifies areas for improvement in program delivery and implements changes to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensures compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, and develops risk mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Develops and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) for program success and provides regular reporting to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate or PG from Tier 1/2 institution (in tech or MBA) preferred.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong experience in project management, with expertise in managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
