Cloud Database Administrator Job Description

About the Role:

  • As a Cloud Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our mission-critical systems across multiple cloud environments.
  • You will ensure seamless execution of database creation, deletion, and upgrades, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into actionable technical solutions.
  • With expertise in MS-SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, you will configure and administer databases, developing and implementing effective backup and restore procedures to minimize downtime.
  • Optimizing database performance by fine-tuning queries and indexing strategies is also an essential part of this role.
  • Collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders is key to your success in this position.
