Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure SpecialistJob Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based systems that meet our clients' needs.

  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Deploy serverless applications utilizing AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and Amazon EventBridge.
  • Manage data storage and processing solutions with DynamoDB, Athena, Amazon Redshift, RDS (Aurora MySQL), and Glue.
  • Secure user authentication through Cognito and IAM policies.
  • Implement messaging workflows using SNS, SQS, and SES.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure using CloudWatch & CloudTrail.
  • Optimize content delivery via CloudFront.
  • Containerize and manage workloads using ECR and AWS Batch.
  • Maintain secure and scalable networking with VPC and DMS (Database Migration Service).
  • Collaborate with development and data teams to automate deployments and ensure CI/CD best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with AWS updates and evaluate new services for potential adoption.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need strong hands-on experience with core AWS services, particularly Compute & Serverless, Storage & Databases, DevOps & Automation, Security & Identity, Monitoring & Messaging, and Networking & Content Delivery.

  • Strong expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, Batch, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, RDS (Aurora), Redshift, Glue, Athena, CloudFormation, Terraform, IAM, Cognito, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, SES, VPC, CloudFront, and DMS.
  • Good understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
  • Familiarity with tools like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
AWS Certification(s) is a plus
