Design Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Conduct thorough Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis on PCBA and fabrication to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
    • Analyze testability and generate DFT reports to ensure seamless product testing and validation.
    • Simulate mechanical assembly processes and create DFA reports to optimize product design. Generate DFx reports based on findings and observations, adhering to industry standards.
    • Work closely with customers and internal manufacturing teams to define DFx requirements and rules. Ensure timely generation and circulation of DFx reports to stakeholders. Mentor team members, provide training, and perform root cause analysis to expedite issue resolution.
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of PCBA processes, including stencil, solder paste printing, SMT, wave-soldering, assembly, and box build. Familiarity with IPC standards and PCB fabrication process is essential. Proficiency in DFx tools and hands-on experience with software like Vayopro, Valor NPI, Solidworks is required.
    • Apply Lean manufacturing principles, Kanban, and Continuous Process Improvement to drive efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with engineering team members to improve existing designs or processes.
  • Requirements:
    • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in DFx methodologies, PCBA DFM process, DFT, and DFA analysis.
    • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field.
  • Key Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Outlook.
