Senior Digital Design Expert

We seek a seasoned Senior Digital Design Expert to spearhead complex digital ICs from architecture to silicon.

About the Role:

  • Lead design efforts for intricate digital circuits, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement cutting-edge physical design flows and methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality designs that consistently meet or exceed customer requirements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to guarantee quality and reliability.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:
  • Deep understanding of synthesis, placement and routing, DRC/LVS closure, and IR/EM checks.
  • Experience with full-chip PnR (timing/congestion/CTS issues), IO ring, package support, and multi-voltage design.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like PERL, TCL, and EDA tool-specific scripting.
  • Knowledge of DRC, LVS, ERC, and PERC rule files for lower tech node layout verification.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in physical design, preferably in a lead engineer role.
  • Strong background in VLSI design, including floor planning, placement, CTS, routing, physical verification, and IREM.
  • Excellent understanding of timing closure (STA) and timing closure methodologies.
  • Good communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
