About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled senior data expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive strategic business decisions.

The senior data expert will be responsible for designing and developing advanced machine learning and statistical models to solve complex business challenges. This includes conducting in-depth research and experimentation to innovate and improve data science methodologies.

The senior data expert will collect, clean, and analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets to extract actionable insights. Collaboration with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business) is required to integrate models into production systems.

The senior data expert will perform hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, and optimization to support strategic initiatives. Additionally, the senior data expert will publish internal technical reports and contribute to research papers/patents as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced machine learning and statistical models.
  • Conduct in-depth research and experimentation to innovate and improve data science methodologies.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems.
  • Perform hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, and optimization.
  • Publish internal technical reports and contribute to research papers/patents.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in applying machine learning, deep learning, and statistical techniques to real-world problems.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages, with expertise in libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, or similar).
  • Strong background in mathematics, probability, linear algebra, and optimization.
  • Experience with research publication or contribution to open-source projects is a plus.
Preferred Skills

The following skills are considered an advantage:

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
  • Strong domain expertise in [Healthcare, Finance, Retail, etc.].
  • Track record of academic publications or patents in AI/ML/Data Science.
