Job Description

Senior functional consultants play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge industry solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of IFS product implementations, working closely with customers and solution architects to design and deploy innovative field service management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align the IFS application with customer business processes, ensuring seamless integration and maximum efficiency.
  • Lead functional workshops to uncover and document requirements, driving effective solutions that meet specific business needs.
  • Configure the IFS applications to ensure they meet customer expectations, providing tailored support for each unique requirement.
  • Develop and guide functional consultants, empowering them to achieve their performance goals and contribute to team success.
Day-to-Day Activities
  • Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and solution architects to understand business needs and operational processes, fostering strong relationships and driving successful project outcomes.
  • Design and facilitate workshops for clients, focusing on mapping and documenting business processes, use cases, and requirements, ensuring thorough understanding and accurate representation.
  • Assist in the completion of business requirement documents and solution design documents, providing critical insights and expertise to inform decision-making.
  • Deliver engaging demos of the IFS application to clients and internal stakeholders, showcasing capabilities and highlighting value-added features.
  • Provide training, education, coaching, and assistance to team members as needed, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Maintain exceptional relationships with clients, prioritizing their needs and delivering outstanding service throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, computer information systems, supply chain management, operations management, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise within the field service management space, with a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • Proven experience of 4-6 years as a functional consultant, with a track record of success working with IFS FSM and/or IFS Cloud.
  • Familiarity with IFS App Gen, Aurena, or IFS Cloud, with a solid grasp of configurations, integrations, and overall system functionality.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
