Senior Director, Strategic Alliances

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Head to lead our Strategic Alliances and Partnerships initiatives at Shriram Life Insurance. This role involves driving growth and profitability by forging strategic alliances with key players in the insurance industry, with a strong focus on life insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Alliance Development
• Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships with key players in the insurance industry.
• Build strong relationships with senior executives at partner organizations.
• Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Business Development
• Develop comprehensive business development plans to drive growth and revenue.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the insurance sector.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Relationship Management
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and collaboration.
• Proactively address partner concerns and resolve issues.
• Foster a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership ecosystem.
Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor a team of alliance managers to achieve business objectives.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Create a positive and motivating work environment.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnership initiatives.
• Prepare regular reports on the performance of strategic alliances and business development activities.
• Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 4 years of experience in strategic alliances or business development within the insurance industry, preferably life insurance.
• Strong understanding of the insurance industry, particularly life insurance products and services.
• Proven track record of building and managing strategic partnerships.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Strong business acumen and financial understanding.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
