Program Manager Role Overview

Enphase is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to drive the successful execution of our upcoming System projects. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and delivering complex programs, spanning the entire product development lifecycle and delivery stages.


Key Responsibilities

  2. Program Leadership:

    Lead and deliver complex Systems, working closely with various internal and external stakeholders to establish project plans, risk management plans, project milestones, and deliverables.



  3. Project Resource Management:

    Define project resources, manage the integration of various components of the project, including hardware, software, testing, business process review, redesign, application development, financial, and costing.



  4. Team Collaboration:

    Work cohesively with team members to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are completed according to schedule, budget, and quality. Foster an orientation toward teamwork and collaboration.



  5. Product Requirements:

    Ensure product requirements are clearly defined. Break down complex software/hardware issues into simple tasks.



  6. Project Planning and Oversight:

    Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans. Identify and handle program cross-functional dependencies between teams.



  7. Communication and Stakeholder Management:

    Communicate development milestones, project schedules, and status updates to drive alignment across the organization and between teams.



  8. Risk Management:

    Coordinate with teams to identify, prioritize, and track risks to schedule and product quality.



  9. System Readiness:

    Drive System readiness in support of key project milestones (Alpha, Beta, etc.).



  10. Validation Cycle Planning:

    Coordinate multiple validation cycles (System level) plans across teams.



  11. Program Status Updates:

    Provide regular program status updates and communicate escalations as needed to the executive team.




Requirements

  2. Professional Qualifications:

    Possess a BTech/MTech in Engineering with 13-15 years of total relevant experience. Experience in the solar energy domain is a significant plus.



  3. Project Management Certification:

    PMP certification or equivalent is desirable.



  4. Leadership Experience:

    Proven experience as a Systems Program Manager in a highly technical product company delivering high-quality HW and SW products, consistently on-time.



  5. Embedded Software and Firmware Development:

    6+ years of experience with Embedded Software and/or Firmware development and managing Electronics/Mechanical products through the entire life cycle process.



  6. Complex Systems Experience:

    Good knowledge and experience of delivering complex Systems is a must. Direct experience with system-level products in the renewable energy domain is strongly desired.



  7. Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge:

    Familiarity with Compliance and Regulatory requirements in different regions.



  8. Manufacturing Team Interaction:

    Experience interacting with Manufacturing teams.



  9. Risk Management Training:

    Trained in Risk Management.



  10. Earned Value Management Systems:

    Experience in Earned Value Management Systems is a plus.



  11. Project Management Principles and Tools:

    Knowledge of Project Management principles and tools to improve collaboration/execution (PMP certification or equivalent desirable).



  12. HW and SW Development Life Cycle:

    Excellent knowledge of HW and SW development Life Cycle.



  13. Team Collaboration and Problem-Solving:

    Ability to work positively with team members of different disciplines involved with the program. Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems and conflicts.



  14. Communication and Coordination:

    Serve as the point of contact between multiple internal and external teams. Ability to influence and excellent coordination skills.



  15. Microsoft Project and General MS Office Skills:

    Microsoft Project and general MS Office skills.

With proven experience in managing both large complex projects and programs, budgets, and justifying resource needs to senior management, you will be able to think strategically and execute methodically. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills will enable you to earn trust at all levels and across geographies.
