Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance department and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering and excellent leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Master's degree in relevant discipline or certifications in Maintenance Management/Facilities Management (plus)

Facility Management Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance activities for electrical, mechanical, and rail siding equipment
  • Manage spare part planning, monitoring, and technical confirmation
  • Conduct safety inspections of equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Implement preventive maintenance documents and schedules for equipment

Environmental Management System Procedures:

  • Reduce waste and implement environmental management system procedures

Communication Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and complex written information

Leadership Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and vendor coordination

Requirements:

  • Five years of maintenance experience with a proven track record of success
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams and vendors
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
