Solar Operations & Maintenance Manager

Our organization seeks an exceptional leader to manage the day-to-day operations of multiple solar plants, ensuring performance targets are consistently met.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Monitoring and Gap Analysis: Conduct regular site visits to track plant performance, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Multisite Coordination: Collaborate with site in-charges to resolve issues, implement best practices, and drive consistency across all sites.
  • Team Development: Develop and execute strategies to recruit, train, and retain high-performing site O&M teams, fostering a culture of productivity and engagement.
  • Project Handover/Takeover: Ensure seamless transitions between projects, adhering to defined scopes and protocols.
  • MIS and Documentation: Oversee the creation and dissemination of weekly/monthly reports, documentation, invoicing, vendor bill verification, and ERP approvals.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and onboard quality local vendors to minimize O&M costs without compromising service quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: B.E. in Electrical / Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC)
  • Experience: 7–10 years of overall experience with minimum 5 years in Solar O&M as middle-level management. Experience with 33kV substations, transmission lines, and related troubleshooting is highly desirable.
