Job Title: Supply Chain Planner

We are seeking a talented Supply Chain Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing the supply chain to meet customer demand.

About the Role:

  • Distribution Planning: You will manage stock replenishment in assigned areas of the supply chain network.
  • Safety Stock Norms: You will define safety stock norms and maintain stock levels in all CFAs to manage uncertainties in demand and supply.
  • Fulfillment Rates: You will deliver fill rates (OTIF) at all CFAs across the country.
  • Stock Freshness: You will maintain high stock freshness across all CFAs and work on strategies to reduce SLOB.
  • Collaboration: You will coordinate between demand and supply teams to align and ensure stock availability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily Monitoring: You will monitor daily stock availability and distribution planning for all CFAs.
  • Dispatch Schedule: You will align with logistics teams on dispatch schedules and release dispatch plans.
  • Transportation Optimization: You will ensure high truck utilization for all vehicle movements and reduce transportation costs.
  • Stock Management: You will ensure on-time dispatches and manage stock levels in CFAs to avoid sales loss or stockouts.
  • Service Levels: You will proactively look at current gaps in service levels and suggest improvement plans.
  • NPD and Promotions: You will align NPD and promotion plans with demand teams and ensure distribution within timelines.
  • Stock Freshness Management: You will maintain required stock freshness in all CFAs and highlight SLOB risks.
  • Liquidation Management:
  • Forward Visibility: You will provide forward requirement visibility to supply teams to ensure stock availability.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: You will coordinate with various stakeholders.

Criteria for Evaluation:

  • Fill Rate: Fill rate is a key performance indicator for this role.
  • Stock Freshness: Stock freshness is critical for maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • SLOB Control: Reducing SLOB is essential for optimizing inventory levels.

Requirements:

  • Education: MBA - Operations/B.E. in Supply Chain, Planning, or Customer Service.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, and Distribution in FMCG industries.

Key Skills:

This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
