As a supply chain expert, you will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Coordinate material availability with the production plan to minimize downtime. Collaborate with production and sales teams for demand forecasting and capacity planning. Monitor daily and weekly production plans and adjust schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
  • Procurement & Supplier Coordination: Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables. Coordinate with approved vendors to track purchase orders, delivery timelines, and quality compliance.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Monitor stock ageing, non-moving inventory, and initiate timely disposal or consumption plans. Regularly conduct physical stock audits and reconciliation with system records.
  • Warehousing & Logistics: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure on-time deliveries. Manage warehouse operations, space utilization, and storage safety. Ensure proper documentation, dispatch scheduling, and coordination with transporters.
  • Cost & Process Optimization: Identify initiatives to reduce logistics, inventory carrying, and procurement costs. Drive process improvements using lean methodologies. Track and improve key SCM KPIs like inventory turnover, delivery accuracy, and material yield.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, EHS norms, and statutory regulations. Conduct regular training and audits to uphold safety standards.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Define clear roles, responsibilities, and development plans. Foster collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in Engineering / Science / Commerce (MBA or PG in Supply Chain preferred)
  • 12-20 years of relevant experience in supply chain or operations management
  • Strong understanding of production planning, MRP, logistics, and warehousing practices
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
