Lead Forecaster

We are seeking an experienced Lead Forecaster to join our team. As a key member of our forecasting unit, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data science methods to drive business growth. Your primary focus will be on forecasting using simulation models.

About the Role:

  • You will lead a team of forecasters in building and maintaining point forecasting and probabilistic forecasting models.
  • You will design and implement complex forecasting algorithms using machine learning and statistical techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in forecasting and analytics.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with simulation modeling and forecasting tools such as AnyLogic.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cultivate skills in hierarchical forecasting and cross-validation strategies like rolling-window, expanding-window, K-fold, and hold-out.
  • Pursue MLOps and LLM/GPT exposure.
