Risk Management Leader for Enterprise Compliance

We are seeking a skilled Risk Management Leader to join our Enterprise Compliance team at Thomson Reuters. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our control landscape and supporting the establishment of new core processes designed to evaluate and manage risks associated with external business relationships.
Your primary responsibility will be to build, deploy, and operate a TR customer compliance (KYC) capability, focusing on identifying risks associated with selling products and provisioning access to TR content and intellectual property.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with members of the broader organization, including Risk & Compliance, Product, Sales, and other business functions, to further strengthen the Firm's risk management practices and drive risk management framework adoption.
- Support the development and delivery of the enterprise-wide Know Your Customer (KYC) program and associated projects.
- Design, implement, and improve relevant processes, such as customer screening, operationalizing new organizational capabilities, and tooling.
- Support third-party risk management activities, connecting the dots to gain efficiency across adjacent processes.
- Mature risk reporting to ensure visibility and adequate treatment for the relevant identified issues.
- Build and maintain a common KYC body of knowledge covering Standard Operating Procedures and training materials for new joiners and impacted business stakeholders.
We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, eager to learn and grow, and comfortable with ambiguity. You should strive for excellence and have a strong understanding of compliance, sales processes, customer screening, and KYC processes.
You'll need to speak fluent English and communicate effectively and efficiently. Additionally, you'll require more than 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a regulated industry, and ideally, 3+ years in a management role leading service delivery and a team of contributors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualization principles is essential, ideally, you're versed with PowerBI. Risk Management is your forte, and you're comfortable working with GRC tooling and processes. Experience with sales, sourcing, procurement, contract management, and relevant processes in a global entity is also required.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in the design and operationalization of KYC controls in a regulated market.
