Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager to oversee our Operations and Sustainability Solutions team.

This key role will ensure seamless execution of projects, retention of existing clientele, and acquisition of new ones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance: Ensure brands adhere to existing rules and regulations.
  • Standardization: Standardize formats according to government, brand or requirements.
  • Documentation: Collect and verify documentation as per commitments given to brands.
  • Follow-ups: Proactively engage with key brands and stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a keen eye for compliance-related documentation.
  • Team Management: Handle multiple teams on-field and off-field.
  • Process Optimization: Increase team efficiency by building optimized processes.
  • Communication: Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols.
  • Strategic Objectives: Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives.
  • Timely Operations: Ensure operational activities remain on time.
  • Staffing: Track staffing requirements and hire new employees as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate and support a large team in a demanding environment.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional support teams to improve implementation processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in operations management.
  • Prior experience in waste management is advantageous.
  • Multitasking: Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects at once.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade others and build consensus.
