At Precision Medicine Group, we're seeking a highly skilled Data Operations Supervisor to join our Tissue Operations team. This key role will oversee all tasks at the project data analyst level, with additional leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training tools for new and existing staff to enhance staff development opportunities.
  • Serve as a mentor to the Project Specialist team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Expertly manage problem-solving related to purchase orders and other facets of order fulfillment.
  • Lead higher-level projects, including those with a molecular design focus, and serve as an assistant to the Project Specialist Supervisor.
  • Utilize expertise in molecular/FFPE projects, tissue data reconciliation, specimen requisitions data, and biorepository data.
  • Specialize in lab service projects, ensuring seamless flow and communication.
  • Act as the Project Specialist/Lab staff lead for daily queries and ensure their resolution.
  • Apply Root Cause Investigation methodology to drive continuous improvement and serve as the quality control expert on the project specialist team.
  • Provide feedback and evaluation of the team to the Project Supervisor.
  • Oversee the completeness of data management documentation for the Biospecimen.
  • Accurately convert data from external suppliers into the IMS database.
  • Assist in managing SharePoint to ensure the most up-to-date information is readily available.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to simplify and automate complex processes.
  • Assist the team in preparing various scheduled and ad-hoc reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Essential Education and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related business field.
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in Data Management with our inventory management system and client-facing databases, requiring an advanced skill level.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on multiple assignments of varying tasks with personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build credibility with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-starting attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow rapidly.
  • Willingness to extend oneself and assist other team members.
  • Possesses ethics and integrity when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak fluently, and comprehend the English language.
  • Experience working with high volumes of transactions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented, actively promoting a cooperative/positive team spirit and respecting the diverse contributions of teams, partners, and networks.
