Product Line Manager for Architectural Hardware and Opening Solutions

As a Product Line Manager for Architectural Hardware and Opening Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in leading and implementing pre-sales technical activities to enable the Projects business of ASSA ABLOY India Pvt. Ltd. Your primary responsibility will be to interact with influencers such as Architects, Consultants, other Intermediaries, and Specifiers, through a structured education of codes, standards, and product application prowess.
Main Responsibilities- Account Management: Manage and actively engage key accounts of Architects/Government departments/End-customers to drive growth and revenue.
- Consultant Engagement: Maintain excellent working relationships with consultants to identify new projects and provide accurate, precise, and timely information to consultants/architects.
- Solution Recommendation: Select and recommend appropriate solutions including products, budgetary quotes, standards, etc. to the target audience.
- Specifications Funnel Management: Increase in the Specifications' funnels made with complete range of ASSA ABLOY products including mechanical, electromechanical, automatics, digital, glass, etc.
- Project Funnel Analysis: Input, maintain, and analyze the project funnel in the CRM tool.
- Tender Submission: Ensure the submitted specifications are discussed and become part of the project tender for future sales generation.
- Training and Awareness: Conduct regular lunch & learn and training events with Architects and Design Firms on codes, standards, designs, and solutions to drive brand awareness.
- Technology Promotion: Promote the adoption and use of the ASSA ABLOY Openings Studio plugin for 3D door and hardware virtual libraries, specifications, and transfer of project information.
- Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence and competition update; provide requisite feedback to the management.
- Sales Conversion: Closely work and coordinate with the Project Sales team to ensure conversion of specifications into actual sales.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer focus to drive growth and revenue.
- Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills to analyze project funnels and provide insights.
- Communication Skills: Strong drive to deliver high growth and good relationship building and communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint, ability to make effective conversations with project owners/architects/Project Management Consultants, and functional understanding of project business in the building materials industry.
- Education and Experience: Engineering Degree/Diploma in Mechanical stream, Architecture or related discipline, familiarity with REVIT or CAD programs, accredited or working towards accreditation, such as GAI, preferred knowledge of ANSI/EN HW standards, and relevant experience 6-10 years with similar industry.
