The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the hotel. This includes ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team to provide exceptional customer service to guests while also being proactive in identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Ensuring that all guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including reception, corridors, and common rooms.
- Handling housekeeping desk efficiently by coordinating with concerned persons and constant follow-up.
- Reporting any loss or damage to the supervisor and taking responsibility for master keys of assigned rooms.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. They must also be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as required.
