We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our scaffolding operations. As a Scaffolding Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our scaffolding systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the planning and execution of scaffolding projects, including scope of work, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the maintenance, inspection, and registration of scaffolds, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead teams of scaffolders to inspect scaffolds before each work period or where a scaffold has been altered, adjusted, or subjected to rain or heavy winds.
- Develop and implement tagging systems to ensure accurate identification and tracking of scaffolds.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect the area where a scaffold is to be positioned and appoint a competent scaffolder to be solely responsible for maintenance works on scaffold and staging.
- Perform HSE risk assessments and facilitate toolbox discussions prior to work commencing for all activities involving working at heights.
- Collaborate with Scaffolding Inspectors to certify all types of scaffolding for use and recommend changes as required.
- Ensure that all personnel involved in scaffolding operations have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
As a Scaffolding Supervisor, you must possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams towards achieving set goals.
