AV Installation and Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled AV installation and maintenance specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Design, install, and maintain audio-visual equipment, including video conferencing systems, distributed audio, digital signage, and control systems.
  • Perform structured cabling installation, including pulling, terminating, and testing cables.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and meet daily deliverables.
  • Collaborate with remote teams to certify control system software.
  • Assist with inventory management, product returns, and DOA issues.
  • Follow safety guidelines and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues during installations and events.
  • Interface with end-users and vendors to address requests.
  • Identify and resolve conference room issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, 0-2 years' experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to think independently and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of wiring, termination skills, and proper installation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and understand architecture, electrical, structural, and AV systems drawings.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
  • Must have dexterity of hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolding, or transported by lifts.
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 15 pounds and frequently lift moderately heavy equipment up to 50 pounds.
