Private Wealth Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Private Wealth Manager to join our team at ICICI Direct. As a key member of our wealth management division, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals to understand their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing personalized financial advice and wealth management solutions to clients based on their needs and risk appetite.
  • Conducting regular portfolio reviews and performance updates with clients to ensure alignment with their financial objectives.
  • Demonstrating expertise in wealth management products, including Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Mutual Funds (MFs), and Equity.
  • Educating clients on the features, benefits, and risks associated with various wealth management products.
  • Recommending suitable investment strategies and products to clients based on their investment preferences and risk profile.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and generating leads through networking and referrals.
  • Driving business growth by effectively cross-selling wealth management products and services to existing clients.
  • Conducting thorough due diligence on investment products and providers to mitigate risks.
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and transactions in accordance with compliance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications include:

  • 12-18 years of relevant experience in wealth management or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of wealth management products, including AIFs and PMS.
  • A proven track record of building and managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant regulatory certifications, such as AMFI or NISM, are an advantage.
