Director/Deputy Director- Placements Job Description

The SGT University is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Director/Deputy Director- Placements. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple departments in various locations within the university and hospital.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with private sector companies, startups, recruitment firms, and HR consultants in the Delhi-NCR region.
    • Connect with industry associations, forums, and captains to facilitate job opportunities.
    • Maintain online communities and social media platforms to engage with potential employers.
    • Negotiate with industries to secure career opportunities for students.
    • Manage placement data, reports, and records accurately.
    • Organize interaction programs on career opportunities.
    • Track application forms, pre-screen candidates, shortlist, and schedule interviews.
    • Monitor individual candidate progress.
    • Provide counseling procedures to applicants.
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping of applicants' information.
  • Training Support:
    • Conduct skill lab orientation programs.
    • Enroll students in the Career Service Tech platform by coordinating with academic institutions.
    • Conduct training programs at different academic institutions.
    • Work closely with subject experts, learning engagement coaches to revise curriculums.
    • Proactively strengthen knowledge and provide feedback on methodologies.
    • Oversee and manage Digitally Enabled Platform.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
    • Desirable: Postgraduate degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
    • Familiarity with software and tools used in placement processes.
    • Experience:
      • A minimum of 15 years or more of relevant experience in Corporate Placements in NCR Region.
