**Job Title: Senior Textile Designer**

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Textile Designer to lead the development of new carpet collections, mentor junior designers, and translate creative vision into products that can be woven with clarity and consistency.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Develop original designs: Create innovative carpet and rug designs that align with our brand's creative vision and market trends.
  • Lead seasonal collections: Conceptualize and design seasonal collections and special projects that showcase our brand's aesthetic.
  • Design translation:** Transform design briefs into production-ready outputs (graphic making, colorways, yarn selection).
  • Collaborate with teams: Work closely with field teams and regularly visit villages to guide weavers during sampling and prototyping.
  • Mentor junior designers: Provide creative direction and hands-on mentoring to junior and assistant designers.
  • Ensure accuracy and feasibility: Verify that designs are accurate and feasible for hand-knotting, hand-tufting, and other traditional techniques.
  • Design documentation: Maintain design documentation, technical specifications, and archive references.
  • Internal communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams (production, sales, marketing) for smooth execution.
