Job Title: Senior Design Manager

The Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead our design coordination team.
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing design teams and ensuring timely delivery of projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design coordination team and overseeing the design process from concept to completion;
  • Coordinating with architects, stakeholders, services consultants, liaison, and clients to ensure seamless communication and collaboration;
  • Value engineering in design optimization from cost and safety parameters;
  • Managing design deliverables, including concept design, GFC drawings, technical specifications, and MOMs;
  • Applying tracking tools like S-curve, EV analysis, value engineering, and risk log preparation;
  • Maintaining documentation, including drawing trackers, site-related case studies, and best practices.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design management, preferably in a construction or engineering environment;
  • Proven track record of successfully leading design teams and delivering projects on time;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
