Job Title:

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Plant HR Manager to oversee the comprehensive Human Resources function at our facility. This is an independent HR role, and the selected candidate will serve as the sole point of contact for all HR activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting qualified candidates for plant-level positions (blue-collar & staff)
  • Collaborating with local labor vendors for manpower supply
  • Conducting employee onboarding and induction sessions
  • Addressing workmen and staff grievances in a timely manner
  • Fostering employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs
  • Maintaining positive industrial relations with contract workers and unions (if applicable)
  • Coordinating payroll processing with finance and vendors
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Managing statutory returns, inspections, and audits
  • Maintaining accurate employee records, attendance, and leave management
  • Preparing regular HR MIS reports
  • Handling documentation related to offer letters, confirmations, and separations
  • Supporting performance management processes
  • Identifying training needs and organizing skill development sessions

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Plant HR functions (preferably in a manufacturing setup)
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently
