Job Title: Senior Adobe Experience Manager Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior AEM Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites and custom applications on the Adobe Experience Manager platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web application development, with experience in front-end and back-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java. They will also have a solid understanding of the AEM filesystem, node types, and package manager.

A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality product delivery is essential for this role. You will work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain websites and custom applications on the Adobe Experience Manager platform
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
  • Follow web standards, governance, and provide input and oversight regarding application development and change management methodologies
  • Align site design with industry standards, best practices, device, and browser support
  • Develop positive customer relationships to influence positive change and contribute to collaboration in defining and implementing IT solutions
  • Actively manage AEM environments to ensure a healthy and resilient system
  • Diagnose and solve technical problems related to all AEM environments and components
  • Modernize and update legacy applications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
  • 5+ years' experience with web application development (front and back end)
  • 3+ years of experience with AEM Sites and Assets version 6 or above
  • Experience with custom component and servlet development
  • Deep knowledge of the AEM filesystem, node types, and package manager
  • Familiarity with AEM archetypes, core components, and ACS Commons
  • Good understanding of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing/deployment, and delivery processes
  • Comfortable with Linux and Apache web server for AEM Dispatcher configuration
  • Experience with Cloud Manager and AEM as a Cloud Service
  • Understanding of internal AEM APIs and query builder
  • Strong Web technology skill set, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Angular
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform and related DevOps process and automation/AWS experience is a plus
