Accounting is a crucial function within our organization. We are currently seeking an accomplished Fund Accounting Manager to spearhead this vital role.

The primary objective of this position is to deliver precise and timely Net Asset Values (NAVs) and oversee various types of reconciliation between clients' general ledger data and market data providers.

This role combines product knowledge with technology utilization, making it a dynamic and challenging opportunity for the right candidate.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage open-ended hedge funds, including reconciliation and trade integration for clients
  • Accurately account for corporate action trades
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly GAV/NAV preparation, encompassing:
  • Booking capital activities
  • Market value reconciliation
  • Profit and loss computation for financial instruments
  • Expense accounting
  • Dividend accrual reconciliation
  • Bond coupon accrual reconciliation
  • Trial balance ledgers confirmation with sub-ledgers
  • In-depth understanding of preparing and reviewing financial statements (US GAAP, IFRS)

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant or MBA with 5+ years of experience
  • Solid understanding of financial/capital markets products (equity, bonds, futures, options, FX forwards)
